Where is Downtown?
Downtown Clemson starts at the intersection of Highway 123 & College Avenue. If you proceed down College Ave. towards the campus of Clemson University, take a sharp right on Highway 93. You'll notice shops and restaurants along the right side of the road, ending at Perimeter Road.

Location

The City of Clemson is located in Pickens County, South Carolina. Pickens County is in the northwestern section of South Carolina, and Clemson is in the southern portion of the county. Clemson is bordered on the north and south in part by Clemson University. The western border is formed by Lake Hartwell, which also serves as the boundary between Pickens and Oconee Counties.

Population
Since 1960, Clemson's population has risen 597%: from 1,587 to 11,939. It is projected that by 2015, there will be over 16,000 residents living in Clemson.
